Oh my goodness – when I tell you it was hard to narrow down photos to blog this session, LEMME tell ya! Sometimes the perfect cocktail of weather, lighting, location, outfits, colors, personalities, etc all come together and I am straight up giddy behind my camera! Rick & Mindy are total stunners which doesn’t hurt either 😉 I love the way Mindy’s bright blue floral dress popped off the natural landscape!
For their engagement session, we explored Majestic Oaks Golf Course! Golf courses can be a lovely option for engagement or wedding photos, because they are so well taken care of and often have beautiful trees without having to get into the woods. Majestic Oaks (aptly named) also has willow trees, flowers, a pretty little white bridge and small pond. It was so fun to explore with these two and I love what a romantic feel these photos have (some of my absolute favorites are near the end!) Engagement sessions are one of my favorite ways to get know couples more before their wedding day – to see the sweet looks they give each other, the way they make each other laugh, little inside jokes that are exchanged, their individual personalities and how they complement one another! Rick & Mindy were no different – it was fun to see their love & respect for each other shining through in their engagement photos!
