Photos are all we have left as life shifts and changes beneath our feet, whether on your wedding day or as you watch your children grow. Capturing the connection you share with the ones you love most is a true honor & joy!
When I was engaged to my now husband, a friend shared something with me that changed the way I viewed (and photographed) weddings forever. She pointed out - "this exact group of people will never be in the same room together again". At first I wanted to protest that this was untrue, but then reflected and realized her point. This unique mix of family, friends from different stages of your life up until now, coworkers, and so on - is entirely unique to the two of you. And more than that, as babies are born, elderly relatives pass on, friendships change -- this day, with this exact set of loved ones, is sacred and fleeting. If you renew your vows 10 years from now, I would guarantee your guest list would look much different. Why does this matter?
This mindset has continued to serve me as I've become a mother, and watched my baby change every so slightly day after day. I take a million photos of her everyday, desperate to remember all the little things I love about her at exactly this stage - so that I can look back and treasure it. I want to capture that for you, too.

My husband Jay and I just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary - I learned SO much when becoming a bride myself, it's my passion to help couples have the best wedding experience. Our little family also consists of our baby girl and two rescue dogs, Hank and Belle. They fill our lives with a ridiculous amount of joy!
In our free time, we love to make a good meal at home (he’s a MUCH better cook than me), rewatch Gilmore Girls, cheer on the Patriots, have friends over for a bonfire and drinks, or spend time on the North Shore!
I have been doing photography full-time since 2017 and every year gets better and better. I grew up on the other side of the camera - my mom is also a photographer and she passed along the same passion. It’s been my dream since I was a kid to photograph weddings and I do my best to never take the opportunity for granted! I’m a little type A...but FUN! I pride myself on being organized, assertive & a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work, but I also value real over “perfect” every time. You'll find that I use a lot of exclamation points & emojis in my emails + texts - not afraid to embrace being happy + not taking life too seriously!
"Working with Natalie was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! She made us feel at ease and was always quick to answer questions. On our wedding day Natalie was easy-going but efficient. We received many comments from friends and family members about how great they thought our photographer was. We love our photos and are sure we will treasure them for many, many years to come!" - Teri
"Natalie exceeded all expectations for us. She was detail oriented, easy to work with, and made my life easier during the planning process! As people who aren’t used to being photographed, she made us feel comfortable and prompted genuine interactions to photograph." - Avery
"We’re so grateful we found Natalie to capture our family! She is so kind and we felt comfortable right away with her. She even made monkey sounds to help our 6 month old smile! :) The images are beautiful and make my heart so happy. I’m already thinking about when we can book her next!" - Katie
Bauer is my maiden name, and I chose to keep my business name the same after getting married (my married name is Werness, pronounced "whirr-ness") as a nod to my love for photography since I was a young girl!
