Ashleigh + Rob had a gorgeous November wedding day at St. Paul Athletic Club! We were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful, sunny fall day which was such a treat since Rob and Ashleigh’s original wedding day was scheduled for April. Their vibrant flowers and bridesmaid dresses were such a FUN palette to capture and just added to the joy of the day! Rob & Ashleigh are one of the most gracious, considerate and kind couples I have had the joy of working with, which says a lot because I work with some pretty amazing people! During their whole day, I felt more than a vendor, but a friend, too!
This was my first time at St. Paul Athletic Club and I was so impressed by what a hidden gem this was as a Minnesota wedding venue! It has old Hollywood character and class that is so fun to photograph. The ceremony in the main hall was truly magical – the grand fireplace made me think of Harry Potter and it was such a cozy addition on a chilly late fall day! One of my absolute favorite parts of the day was Ashleigh & her dad’s father daughter dance – they started out traditional, and then surprised us all with a choreographed dance!! Everyone was standing up and cheering them on – the energy in the room was just electric and their dancing was SO impressive!
