Mariah and Thomas’s South Glen Farm wedding was worth the wait! After rescheduling their spring backyard wedding due to the pandemic, Mariah and Thomas eloped on the north shore in April. You can view their gorgeous Duluth elopement here! They then planned their full wedding + reception with family and friends on a beautiful October day at South Glen Farm in Glencoe!
When I first arrived my jaw literally hit the floor when I saw Mariah’s bridal details! If you know me, you know I love all things Rifle Paper Company. The combination of Mariah’s vibrant flowers, Rifle Paper Co inspired invitation suite, gold accents, vintage stamps and gorgeous gold calligraphy was truly a DREAM to photograph! The getting ready space at South Glen is a new favorite of mine – an adorable little cottage with so much character (check out those stenciled floors) and perfect lighting for hair + makeup, as well as photos.
One of the sweetest surprises of their day was the weather we had. Mariah’s dream had been to have a spring wedding, and when COVID prevented that from happening, we had all prepared for a typical Minnesota October day. Although it was brisk, the sun was shining the whole day and somehow the trees on the property were still green!! I kept remarking all day how “springy” their photos were looking, despite it being the end of October! It made my heart happy that Mariah could still have the day she was envisioning, after so much hard work to reschedule! Thomas and Mariah, thank you for being the most kind and gracious clients – wishing you two the MOST newlywed bliss!
