Marissa & Patrick had the perfect summer day for their Rondele Ranch wedding! This was my first time at Rondele Ranch in Wisconsin, and it didn’t disappoint! The drive out to Harshaw, WI was beautiful. There is something so peaceful about being in the north woods of Wisconsin that I just adore! Marissa & Patrick love the outdoors and wanted their wedding to have a classic feel, where their family and friends could feel relaxed while celebrating with them! They wanted their small, intimate wedding to be all about showcasing and celebrating those close to them.
Since the weather was absolutely perfect, Marissa and Patrick were able to have their wedding ceremony outdoors in the white gazebo on site. Their florist, Mikelle of Fersk Floral Artistry, decorated the outside of the gazebo with gorgeous floral installations. The color palette that she created for Marissa’s flowers was just beautiful and so unique! Marissa wanted their decor and colors to feel lively, upbeat, intimate, and natural without going too casual. I think they knocked it out of the park! Throughout their day, Marissa and Patrick tied in sentimental and meaningful elements. Marissa wore her grandma’s pearl necklace that she wore on her wedding day, and they featured wedding photos of their parents and grandparents as part of their reception decor.
It was such a joy to work with these two. They are incredibly sweet, kind, considerate, and clearly just adore each other. It makes my job so easy! After some amazing golden hour photos (one of my absolutely favorite parts of any wedding day!), we ended the night with Marissa and Patrick’s first dance. However this was a little unique and SO romantic, because they opted to have their first dance outside, with their guests holding sparklers and swaying along to the music as the last moments of light faded away.
