This Willow Brooke Farm wedding day was one of those where when I showed up, I got GIDDY! First of all, I already knew how much I loved Maren & Andrew after getting to know them more at their engagement session the summer prior. They are my favorite combo of qualities – goofy, genuine, hilarious, sweet and so kind. They clearly adore each other & that makes my job of capturing their relationship SO easy & fun.
I knew their wedding day would be the same, full of joy & genuine care. That alone makes me so excited for a wedding day, but I also knew that Maren & Andrew weren’t afraid of incorporating fun & bold COLOR into their wedding day! Their style was so bright & unique. I was also especially excited to photograph at their venue, Willow Brooke Farm, for the first time. This hidden little gem in Red Wing, MN is such a peaceful location for a wedding.
Maren and Andrew got married outdoors in Willow Brooke’s lush vineyard. Their ceremony was so sacred and intimate, and the setting at Willow Brooke just added to that feeling.
After the ceremony, the rest of the night was a blast! Their friends and family sure know how to celebrate! The live band, Legacy Band, only added to the energetic and joyful theme of the night!
Perhaps my favorite part of the day was taking Maren and Andrew out for their golden hour portraits. It could not have been a more beautiful summer night with the rolling hills of Red Wing in the background. We giggled, we danced, we ran down the dirt road with abandon, just celebrating the fact that Maren & Andrew were finally MARRIED! Cheers to newlywed life, you two – thanks for letting me be a part of your day!
