Any Minnesotan knows that doing outdoor engagement photos this winter is RISKY! Old Man Winter has been throwing curveballs at us left and right- but somehow we managed to pick the PERFECT day! 32 degrees, zero wind, fresh snowfall. We tromped (literally) around Lakefront Park and got a lot of variety with location!
Mary and Will are so sweet – like most of the couples I’m lucky enough to work with, they have such a sweet and genuine connection. It’s evident how comfortable they feel around each other – there were SO many giggles as they both joked about being awkward in front of the camera – when in reality, as you’ll see below, they are so photogenic!! Mary and Will are juggling the long-distance dynamic as Will works up in St. Cloud and they only get to see each other on weekends! It’s so true though – absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder and it was clear how much they appreciate their time together. It’s such a beautiful quality that is harder to maintain once you’re married and sharing alllll the things so it was refreshing to be around and made me go home and hug my husband a little tighter! Mary and Will, I’m so excited for your August wedding! I know it’s going to be heartfelt and genuine, just like the two of you!!
