I’m Natalie Werness,
a wedding + portrait photographer in the Twin Cities!

I’m a newlywed living in the cozy suburbs of the Twin Cities with my forever MCM, Jay! Oh, and you might be wondering.. why Bauer Creative? Isn’t your last name Werness? Bauer is my maiden name, and I decided to keep it as my business name even after I got married – my love for photography began as a child, and it’s a sweet nod to my past.

+ I am an old soul but a kid at heart and deep conversations are my jam. I love quirks and real, raw, honest relationships. I’m passionate about marriage, growth, commitment, and having a close circle who is with you through it all!

+ When I’m not at a shoot or editing, you can find me lifting heavy at the gym or curled up at home, catching up on Netflix or with a new book! I am a TOTAL homebody at heart! I also love exploring outdoors, eating buffalo wings (extra blue cheese, please!), dancing to Beyonce in my pajamas, and dreaming up our next vacation!

my wild curls, using too many exclamation marks, coral lipstick, chasing the perfect golden hour light, always being homesick for the mountains, snort-laughing at my husband, adding way too much creamer to my coffee, & car dancing to Drake + Beyoncé!
