I crossed the border into Wisconsin for this summer engagement session! Arik and Alissa knew exactly where they wanted their engagement session – at the park that Arik proposed at! Phoneix Park in Eau Claire is a beautiful area right on the river, full of lush greens and wildflowers. Our night began overcast but ended with a sunny golden hour and beautiful sunset! They ended their session sharing a beer on the beach – but not just any beer! Lagunita was the beer that “introduced” them at a party several years ago – after Alissa offered to let Arik try a sip of hers. They started talking and have been together ever since! I absolutely loved this session and had SUCH a hard time narrowing down which images to blog. So excited for their September wedding!
