Two of my favorite things about engagement sessions: the time and freedom to explore a new spot with my couple, and couples who are down to earth and willing to go with the flow! Nate and Caroline absolutely knocked their engagement session out of the park – which is especially impressive because about 10 min into our session, it started to RAIN even though all the forecasts said it would only be a cloudy night. Insert slight panic here! Thankfully Nate had an umbrella in his car for me to use for my camera, and he and Caroline were SO chill about taking their photos in the drizzle. They were perfectly content to just be together, and they made my job SO easy!! And I learned a new skill – how to shoot with only hand, and hold and umbrella with the other! 😉
I’m truly so bummed that I have to wait until next September for their wedding pictures! Can’t wait!! Enjoy this beautiful, rainy session at Afton State Park!
